Jiangsu entrepreneurs discussed advanced manufacturing, global expansion and long-term growth strategies for technology-driven B2B companies.
SUZHOU, China — June 9, 2026 — SEPPES Door Industry Chairman Yang Yuanjia joined more than 40 Jiangsu business leaders on June 9 for the 2026 Jiangsu Listed Companies Benchmark Visit, hosted by the Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association at Peijia Medical in Suzhou Industrial Park. The event brought together executives from advanced manufacturing, medical technology and industrial equipment sectors to discuss innovation, organizational growth, global expansion and long-term competitiveness.
The visit focused on Peijia Medical, a Hong Kong-listed medical device company specializing in structural heart disease and neurointervention. Participants toured the company’s exhibition hall, reviewed its innovation pipeline and attended a keynote presentation by Peijia Medical Chairman, CEO and CTO Dr. Zhang Yi.
For SEPPES, a Suzhou-based industrial door manufacturer specializing in high speed doors, industrial sectional doors and loading dock equipment, the event provided a cross-sector platform to examine how technology-driven companies can build stronger organizations, improve product reliability and compete in global B2B markets.

ToggleIndustrial manufacturers focus on innovation and global competitiveness
Peijia Medical was founded in Suzhou in 2012 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2020 under the stock code 9996.HK. According to the event materials, the company reported revenue of RMB 713 million in 2025, up 15.8% year over year. Its product portfolio covers transcatheter valve systems, neurointervention products and other high-end medical device solutions.
During the keynote session, Dr. Zhang reviewed his entrepreneurial experience, including his return to China in 2002 and his role in building domestic medical device capabilities in a market previously dominated by foreign companies. He also discussed Peijia Medical’s long-term investment in clinical feedback, product quality, R&D discipline and global development.
Yang Yuanjia, chairman of SEPPES Door Industry and a council member of the Sushang association, raised two management questions that are highly relevant to B2B industrial manufacturers: how a founder-led company can evolve from an early-stage operation into a mature organization with more than 1,000 employees, and how a technology-oriented founder can turn company culture into a practical management system.
“Advanced manufacturing companies cannot rely on product function alone,” Yang said in a prepared statement. “For B2B industrial brands, long-term competitiveness depends on disciplined engineering, stable quality control, reliable delivery and the ability to serve customers across different industries and markets.”
From medical technology to intelligent industrial door systems
Dr. Zhang emphasized that organizational growth depends on layered talent development, industry ecosystem building and clear business segmentation. He noted that enterprise culture should not remain a slogan, but should become a behavioral standard across R&D, production, clinical application and global operations.
For companies in the industrial equipment sector, the discussion reflected a wider trend in Chinese advanced manufacturing. Overseas B2B customers are no longer evaluating suppliers only by price or production capacity. They increasingly look for certified products, engineering capability, technical documentation, safety performance, service response and industry-specific application experience.
These requirements are especially important for intelligent industrial door systems, including high speed doors, self-repairing PVC doors, spiral doors, industrial sectional doors and loading dock systems. Such products are widely used in logistics centers, food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, cold chain warehouses, manufacturing workshops and commercial industrial buildings.
SEPPES Door Industry has focused on industrial access solutions for more than a decade. The company has developed more than 50 technical patents and nearly 70 industrial door products across seven product lines. Its products have obtained international certifications including CE and SGS, and the company serves more than 6,600 enterprises, including over 80 Fortune Global 500 companies, with exports to more than 90 countries.
Brand building, AI adoption and global expansion
At the close of the event, Yu Wenqin, executive vice president of the Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association, summarized four priorities for enterprises seeking sustainable growth: brand development, globalization, AI adoption and internal governance improvement.
He said companies such as Peijia Medical and SEPPES represent different but connected examples of Suzhou-based enterprises pursuing technology-driven growth. One operates in high-end medical devices, while the other focuses on intelligent industrial equipment. Both reflect the broader movement among Jiangsu manufacturers to strengthen domestic innovation and expand into global markets.
“The next stage of industrial competition will not be defined only by production capacity,” Yu said in a prepared statement. “It will be defined by brand credibility, global operating capability, digital transformation and the discipline to improve governance from within.”
The benchmark visit created a practical exchange platform for entrepreneurs from different industrial sectors. For SEPPES, the event reinforced the importance of long-term product development, quality management, global customer service and brand communication as the company continues to expand its presence as a global industrial door supplier.
